I wrote in an earlier entry about the Minnesota Senate Race that Jesse Ventura, former Navy SEAL, professional wrestler, and governor of Minnesota, might enter the Minnesota senate race. Just last week he announced on Larry King Live that he is not going to join the fray. He cited family reasons. He also let on that his interest in politics is not dead, so we may hear from him yet, just not sure when. His entry into the race probably would have hurt Al Franken more than Senator Norm Coleman, but now we will never know for sure. The Minnesota primary is September 9 and there are several other candidates running, including two Green Party candidates, Michael Cavlan and Thomas Harens.
